Chandleries are those special stores where boaters go to get the stuff they need to make their boating safe, comfortable and fun. Life jackets, lines, fenders, charts, cleaning products, nautical furniture, marine batteries, even boat shoes can be found in these establishments. They are the hardware stores for the boater, and can also be a fun places to browse, dream and stock up on items both necessary and fun during the off season (if there is such a thing in the California Delta!).
