Oxbow Marina holds its annual Lighted Boat Parade every December. The day is filled with activity as people put the finishing touches on their masterpieces. The parade leaves Oxbow at dusk, and proceeds down the Georgiana Slough to the Mokelumne River. It turns around at the Mokelumne Bridge and returns up the Georgiana, going past the Oxbow homes.
